Recommendations from Fellow GMCers
GMCers who travel in their motorhomes go to a variety destinations. Along the way they encounter interesting sites, engaging things to do and campgrounds deserving of mention. GMCES is offering this page to the community of TZE owners as a point of reference for such locations. Submissions may be made by GMCers whether members of Eastern States or not. Over time this can become the place where other GMCers check before heading out on a trip, especially if they want personalized recommendations. However, this tool can only be as good as the community makes it. Therefore, your thoughtful and helpful submissions are important.
Use the link (in the sidebar at left) to access the Submit Info page. Fill out all entry areas as completely as possible being sure to mark whether the submission is for a something to see, activity to do or place to stay (chain and non-chain campgrounds accepted). It is also essential that a physical address be provided so the entry can be displayed within a Google map. Finally, provide a summary about the submission and information you deem appropriate. When complete, submit the information to the webmaster. The entry will be reviewed and posted at the earless convenience of the webmaster. Your cooperation is appreciated in launching this new service to the GMC community.
Other Remarks
As the number of submissions grows, a BatchGeo page from Google will be developed and added. This type of page will allow visitors to see all the locations in the context of a map. Also, the Campgrounds and the Things to See or Do lists will be broken down by region and then by state as the need warrants.
